A BIT ABOUT THERAPY

Guiding You On the Path of Self-Healing

According to the American Psychiatric Association, “Problems helped by psychotherapy include difficulties in coping with daily life; the impact of trauma, medical illness or loss, like the death of a loved one; and specific mental disorders, like depression or anxiety.” Through the use of various psychotherapy methods and collaborative treatment measures, clients are able to develop life-changing habits to help cope with any of life’s various obstacles. Therapy sessions are designed to explore personal issues and provide effective tools to help clients see the glass half full instead of half empty.

What to expect from Cognitive-Behavior-Therapy: An assessment, personal education, goal setting, and forms of "homework."

“Discussing positive experiences leads to heightened well-being, increased overall life satisfaction and even more energy”
